The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 on Monday night to stop a two-game losing streak.

The win lifted Dallas to a 3-4 record. It kept the team within reach of the New York Giants, who sit at 4-2-1 in the division.

The Cowboys had lost their previous two games by a combined 14 points. In that span, quarterback Dak Prescott threw four interceptions. The team scored only 29 points over those two contests.

On Monday, Prescott threw three touchdown passes. Two went to wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, and one went to George Pickens. It is the sixth time in Prescott's career he has thrown for at least three touchdowns against Philadelphia.

Running back Javonte Williams carried the ball 25 times. He rushed for a career-high 155 yards. He sealed the victory with a two-yard touchdown run with 2:21 left in the game.

Dallas topped 200 yards in both rushing and passing offense. That is the first time the Cowboys have done so against the Eagles since 1983.

The defense allowed a touchdown in the opening drive of each half. DeMarvion Overshown intercepted a pass from Tanner McKee. Quinnen Williams and Donovan Ezeiruaku recorded sacks.

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer faced criticism earlier in the week. He told 105.3 The Fan he was an elite playcaller despite a 9-13-1 record. He remained restrained with reporters after the game. He said his players just played well.

Prescott said he saw a hungry version of his coach in the locker room. He stated the team supports Schottenheimer.

The Cowboys will host the Arizona Cardinals at AT&T Stadium next. They have not won consecutive games since a three-game streak last year.

ESPN Analytics projects a 57% chance for Dallas to win the NFC East. Prescott said the team must earn its way forward every week.
