Milwaukee is in the World Series, and a Tampa Bay connection is tucked into the bullpen coach's gear. Charlie Greene, the Brewers' bullpen coach, is bringing a personalized protective cup to the championship series that displays the logos and jersey numbers of both the Milwaukee Brewers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The custom equipment features Charlie's number 88 and the Brewers logo on the top section. The bottom section displays his son Garrett's number 85 and the Buccaneers logo. Diamond MMA designed the piece for the family. Charlie wears it as part of his uniform during the series.

Garrett Greene is a wide receiver on the Buccaneers' practice squad. He is attempting to establish a professional career in the NFL after switching positions from quarterback to wide receiver. Charlie has worked with the Milwaukee organization for 22 years, creating a long-standing bond with the club and the city.

The dual representation allows the father to support his team while acknowledging his son's efforts in football. Charlie stated that the arrangement represents both franchises. He noted that the setup is a fun element of his daily routine during the postseason.

Charlie monitors his son's progress in Tampa Bay while focusing on the Milwaukee roster. He described the transition from quarterback to receiver as difficult at the professional level. He added that Garrett has performed well in the new role and enjoys the environment with his teammates.

Garrett has traveled to Milwaukee when his schedule permitted to watch his father's team play in person. Charlie indicated that the son's loyalty to the Brewers is natural given the family's long history with the franchise. The father has been with the organization for two decades.

The Greene family is following two distinct professional paths simultaneously. Charlie is competing for a championship in baseball, while Garrett works to secure an active roster spot in football. Both men are currently focused on their respective teams during the current competitive season.
