UNC Charlotte employees can register for two professional development workshops scheduled for November 2026. The sessions focus on using artificial intelligence to improve productivity and strategies for managing organizational change. Both events are hosted by the university's human resources learning and organizational development team.

The first session, titled From Chaos to Clarity, Maximizing Productivity with Effective Strategies and AI Tools, takes place on Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 9 to 10:15 a.m. The course teaches staff how to use the Cornell Method for meeting notes. It also covers how to break large projects into smaller microtasks. Participants will learn to apply AI tools to streamline their daily workflows.

The second session, The Head, Heart, and Hands of Change Management, is set for Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. This workshop explores the psychological reasons people resist change. It introduces frameworks for building stakeholder buy-in. The goal is to help staff communicate change with transparency and confidence.

Both workshops will be held in Colvard Building, Room 5092. Staff must sign up through the Learning and Development Portal. The Unleash Your Niner Potential series offers 16 different topics over the course of the year. This allows employees multiple chances to participate in the program.

Gigi Roy wrote the announcement for the university's internal news outlet. The series aims to provide practical tools and hands-on learning for Charlotte employees. It also creates opportunities for staff to connect with colleagues across the campus.
